[OpenLayers-Users] getfeatureinfo request with post

Hello there,

Since, in a project, get request string became longer than limits (because
of numbers of layers in the query) I have to find another solution for
getfeatureinfo requests. I thought instead of GET, I can use POST.

Right now I am using OpenLayers.Control.WMSGetFeatureInfo

is there a way to make it to use POST request or is there a way to make
getfeatureinfo request with post method?

Otherwise I think I should divide layers into 2 requests and send them one
by one. 

What do you say guys?
