[OpenLayers-Users] getfeatureinfo request with post

I am pretty sure you would have to override the request method in 
WMSGetFeatureInfo with your own custom method. The code explicitly
services the request with OpenLayers.Request.Get in that method. Your 
override would need provide at least the option of using 
OpenLayers.Request.Post instead.
