While you might not be throwing JS errors, have a look at the NET tab in 
either firebug or chrome developer tools. Have a look at the net 
requests that your application is making and what the response looks 
like. Unless you are doing pure GET calls (no WFS, nothing that would 
invoke XHR), make sure your proxyHost is working too.
