[OpenLayers-Users] OpenLayers 2.13: how to avoid animated zooming

Hi everyone.

I've read release note for version 2.13 
(https://github.com/openlayers/openlayers/blob/master/notes/2.13.md) and 
tried to set my map with:
         transitionEffect: null
         zoomMethod: null
but the animated zooming persist.

Am I missing something?
