[OpenLayers-Users] Change controls position

Hi,

how about the best way to afford control positioning in the viewport?

eg. overview map and permalink and mouse position they overlap each other
(absolute positioning, bottom right).

Should I touch style.css and use my own theme? Should I change class
definition on the fly with js?
At fist glance I guess it's a matter of taste but I would like to have some
feedback from the list on that.
