I have a few hours free this morning so I will head over. If you can prepare a statement then I will be happy to read it given the opportunity...with the chapter's'approval (by abstention if necessary).

Unfortunately, my week has me too busy to really follow up well on  
this topic.  But I see in this article, they welcome comments and  
also invite people to come and speak/support the motion TOMORROW.

I won't be making it, (if only it was any other week and I had more  
than a few days notice ;-) ) but maybe some of you locals would be  
interested/able.  If you want to work with my on a statement we can  
do that too.  I'm going to try to put something together, but I'm  
afraid it's too late unless you can show up in person.  I'm sure our  
chapter would gladly support anyone who volunteers to speak on our  
collective behalf at 9:30 in the morning ;-)

Something you might be interested in Gerry?  Martin?  Others?
