[osgeo4w-dev] what package creates the OSGeo4w Shell menu item?

I'm not sure why we need this for start menus and desktop shortcuts.
The xxmklink handles those just fine.

What registry listing do we require?

How would we create an uninstaller without it knowing all the files in the
installed packages?
