[osgeo4w-dev] Getting Started

HiGuys ,

I'm having some problems getting the software installed. I select all packages to install and after 
installation all I get is a shortcut in the start menu/all programs to OSGeo shell. Of which I dont know what to do 
from here - the Quick Start guide mentioned another shortcut to desktop applicaitons which never appeared. Plus it cant be uninstalled.

Any ideas?
