[osgeo4w-dev] GDAL 1.6 Packaged for OSGeo4W

Folks,

I have prepared the following GDAL/OGR 1.6 packages based on RC1.

   gdal16 - main dll and .exe's
   gdal16-python - python bindings, and python scripts
   gdal16-mrsid - mrsid plugin
   gdal16-autotest - the 1.6 autotest suite.

Similar to the gdal-dev package, you need to run gdal16.bat in the OSGeo4W
command shell in order to use the gdal16 versions of exe's and dlls.

Since GDAL 1.6 will guarantee ABI compatability over the full GDAL 1.6 branch
I plan to prepare additional dependent packages (additional plugins, and
possibly more language bindings).
