[osgeo4w-dev] ecw plugin: 3.3 SDK no longer available

Hi Folks,

I discovered today the 3.3 SDK for ECW is no longer available. It is 
expected to be replaced by 4.1 sometime this month. (source 
http://www.erdas.com/Products/ERDASProductInformation/tabid/84/currentid/1142/default.aspx)

Thus the instructions at http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/wiki/pkg-gdal-ecw 
are currently in error. Is this likely a short term problem (e.g. the 
4.1 SDK, when available, will just work)?
