Ditto. Svn log and http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/log/trunk (with an rss 
feed at the bottom) are better tools for keeping an eye on what others 
are doing. In my opinion of course. If anyone is actively using the 
commit mailing list and it's not causing hardship on the server 
resources (inc. administrators) I have no problem with its existance.
