[Live-demo] arramagong-3.0-alpha1 released

The first of the 3.0 alpha virtual machines (and build logs) is now 
available for download at:

http://download.osgeo.org/livedvd/3.0-alpha1/

Most applications seemed to install ok, although there are some errors 
in the logs which seem like there are some problems.

I haven't had a chance to test the applications yet and would be 
interested to hear feedback from anyone who is interested in trying this 
release out.
