Hi All-
for the record, the change in interpreting BYTEA in the OGR driver
is very, very old legacy code
and will likely be eliminated in OGR in the not-so-distant future
thx very much to EvenR for his prompt and accurate insights, as usual
The bottom line is, there is very little in Pg9.x that should be of
trouble to the other
projects..
