There's a typo in your build script on line 67 [1]

^^^^
If PyWPS is not essential for one of the FOSS4G workshop then it would make sense to wait for OSGeo Live 8.5 for better testing.

I agree that PyWPS should be included in OSGeoLive in 8.5.
Having a better application to demonstrate its capabilities, or a quickstart using QGIS WPS plugin would be a nice thing to have.
Same applies for Iris, a nice demonstration is what new users will see first ;)
