 Thanks for the feedback Even.

 I completed the transition last night and I have a new iso:

 Unfortunately the issue was not fixed.

 I am 100% sure this is a libtiff issue (see comment #8 above), but I am
 not sure why it causes this crash (actually the crash happens only with
 the natural earth QGIS project, which directly opens a tiff file)
