[OSGeoLive] Versions of software on OSGeoLive

Hi Johanna,

Welcome aboard !

Software versions are freeze until next release. Developers can install
software manually to test it on the current version.
Online documentation has to reflect current release, but nothing forbid to
prepare the next one. We won't ship any new isos until next summer.

How to install manually QGIS 3.4 in OSGeoLive 12.0 (tested on a VM):

Add this line to /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb https://qgis.org/ubuntu bionic main

Then sudo apt update (had the key from ubuntu keyserver if necessary - see
QGIS docs)
Last step then you are done:
sudo apt dist-upgrade

Please note that by its design, OSGeoLive should not be updated as updating
a project can break another project dependencies. Do it at your own risk :)

Does that help you ?
Cheers,

Nicolas
