[Oskari-user] Error when adding a layer to Oskari

Hi Minna,

The message tells that the metadata referenced in the layer capabilities response can't be found from the catalogue/CSW-service (for example paikkatietohakemisto.fi) configured to be used in the Oskari instance or the catalogue service connection might be misconfigured. It shouldn't prevent the layer from being registered though. There should be an error message in the server log with the details. It's also possible that some random error occurs and the error is just handled like the metadata fetching failed.

If you can send the server log from the time that the layer has been registered to Oskari I can take a look at it. Or the details of the layer if it's accessible from the internet so I can try registering the layer on my instance.

         Sami

Aihe: [Oskari-user] Error when adding a layer to Oskari

Hello dear Oskari-people,

I am having trouble when adding a wfs service to Oskari and I was wondering if anyone on this list has faced the same problem and could give some good tips what to do!

I have a wfs which works fine with QGis and in a browser but when I try to add it to our Oskari-application I keep getting an error message "Metatietoja ei voitu hakea". There are not any scandi letters in layer names and also wfs version, coordinate system and protocol definitions seem to be correct.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem..? I'm grateful for any help!

with kind regards,
