Kiitos vielä kaikille viime viikolla verkostopäivään osallistuneille!

Verkostopäivässä äänestettiin uusista jäsenistä Oskarin kehittämisryhmään. Äänestys oli tiukka, mutta jäseniksi vahvistettiin maanantaisessa kehittämisryhmän kokouksessa Gispo (Anniina Kovalainen) ja Sitowise (Jani Levonen). Onnea - teillä on tärkeä tehtävä verkoston edustajina!

Muistuttaisin vielä verkostokyselystä, johon kaivataan kovasti vastauksia. Jokainen vastaus on tärkeä, ja vastauksia käytetäänkin verkoston toiminnan parantamiseksi. Verkostopäivän pienryhmäkeskusteluissa tehtiin myös tärkeä nosto sekä ulkoisen että verkoston sisäisen viestinnän kehittämisestä. Tiedonkulkua toivottiin myös parannettavan. Tähän varmasti tartutaan tiukemmin vuoden aikana, mutta tähän väliin muistuttaisin verkoston viestintäkanavista. Tietoa tarjoillaan mm. Twitterin kautta ( @oskari.org<https://twitter.com/oskari_org> ), blogista<https://oskariorg.github.io/>, tämän sähköpostilistan sekä erilaisten tapahtumien ja webinaarien kautta. Lisäksi avoimesti käytössämme on pikaviestintäkanava Gitter<https://gitter.im/oskariorg/chat>.

Haluan myös tietää, jos sinulla, Oskari-yhteisön jäsenellä, on ideoita tiedonkulun kehittämiseksi. Ollaan yhteydessä!

Hi Community!

Thanks again to everyone who attended the community day last week. During the community day, there was also a vote for new members of Oskaris development group. The new members were confirmed on monday in the joint development forum, and they are Gispo (Anniina Kovalainen) and Sitowise (Jani Levonen). Congratulations! You have an important job as representatives of the community!

An important point was made in the small group discussions during the community day, the development the community's internal and external communications. There were also wishes for improvement in the information flow. This will surely get much needed attention during this year. At this stage I'd like to remind you of the community communication channels. Information is available via Twitter (oskari.org<https://twitter.com/oskari_org>), the blog<https://oskariorg.github.io/>, this e-mail subscription and via various events and webinars. We also have access to the IM channel Gitter<https://gitter.im/oskariorg/chat>.

I would also like to know of your ideas on how to improve community internal communications. Don't hesitate to reach out!
