Interesting,
Source: http://www.safe.com/reader_writerPDF/qlf.pdf
The Centre for Topographic Information Sherbrooke (CITS) Data Transfer
Format
(QLF) Reader and Writer modules provide the Feature Manipulation Engine
(FME) with
the ability to read and write QLF import and export files. The QLF is a
published ASCII
format used by CITS for import and export.
Where did you get the data? If you got it from CTIS (Natural Resources
Canada) then perhaps they can give it to you in an interoperable format.
I looked at OGR (as it is a vector format) and no glorry by that
extension name. It is possible the format is simmilar to another format
but I'm not sure. I know that the canadian digital elevation format is
the same as the U.S digital elevation format but with a different name.
Check to see if the data is already given away free here:
http://www.geogratis.ca/geogratis/en/index.html
More information might be available through the CTIS website here:
http://www.cits.rncan.gc.ca
I will ask around here and see if anyone knows of another reader.
Cheers

Subject: [Ottawa_users] .qlf format
Hi,
Has anyone worked with .qlf format before? Curious if there are any
conversion tools available without going to FME / ArcGIS Data
Interoperability?
Thanks,
Jared.
