[Ottawa_users] GeoCamp 2009

Hey Folks,

As part of the Boot Camp perhaps we can work with the GIS crew at
Algonquin and see if we can get a computer lab installed with FOSS4G
tools and run a couple of workshops and demos. Maybe intro to GRASS
(QGIS), build your own web map (open Layers), intro to Postgis (JUMP,
GRASS, QGIS), and intro to serving geospatial data (GeoServer).

If so then starting now might be a good idea to hit some inroads. Maybe
find what FOSS4G tools might already be used in their courses.

Any thoughts?

Cheers
