Job offer

C/C++ developper for lidar data analysis

·      Contract duration : 10 months, with possible extension

·      Start date: December 2010

·      Full time or 4 days/week

·      Location: Geography Department, University of Quebec in Montreal

·      Salary : commensurate to experience


Tasks and responsibilities

Within a multidisciplinary research team of 4 persons, implement in C/C++
new automated airborne scanning lidar data analysis methods through the
development of new functions and the integration of existing OpenSource
libraries.

Required skills

·      C and/or C++ programming

·      Good knowledge of image processing/computer vision

·      Basic knowledge of geospatial data handling
