Hi Tom,
i don't think that this is the problem... nmap says that ports are
opened, and telnet can make a connexion :
# nmap 193.55.67.146
Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2016-05-20 16:45 CEST
Nmap scan report for 193.55.67.146
Host is up (0.00044s latency).
Not shown: 997 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
22/tcp open ssh
80/tcp open http
8080/tcp open http-proxy
# telnet 193.55.67.146 8080
Trying 193.55.67.146...
Connected to 193.55.67.146.
Escape character is '^]'.
but it is perhaps a DNS problem... oups, i just remember now that this
host was not on the DNS !!! :-[
and it works now because i just changed my /etc/hosts file with a record
for geonetwork-mshe.univ-fcomte.fr
i am very sorry...
Thanks for your help,
Ernest.
