[pdal] e57 writers file can't be imported

Hi!
I'm new on PDAL, and hope this is the good mailing list for that!
I followed the tutorial
https://github.com/PDAL/PDAL/blob/master/examples/writing/tutorial.cpp and
wanted to create an e57 file instead of a LAS one.
So I changed
"myfile.las" to "myfile.e57" and "createStage("writers.las")" to
"createStage("writers.e57"), thinking Stagefactory would do the jib.
The file "myfile.e57" is well created but when I try to import it, every
soft I use generate an error saying that he can't import the e57. Is there
a step I'm missing?
