[pdal] Fw: Entwine performance (recommended hardware)

okay i'll try this.
I launched one project (44Go 64 las files) with the script that you sent (processing with pdal translate than build and merge). It's running : it's still in pdal translate, apparently this takes too much. Maybe Tomorow I'll have a result.

And I have another project with 528 las files (223Go):

This one I am trying to do it without pdal translate, directly start with build -s and then merge because pdal translate is taking to much time. I have  total_parts=256

But when I start it I have this warning/error  :

why entwine is not being able to convert these las and is skipping them ?

PS. I had an e57 files of 223Go (composed with 528 scans) I converted it with e572las  (-split_scans)
