[pdal] Duplicate a PLY file preserving its color and rounding the points precision from double to single

Goal: Duplicate a PLY file preserving its color and rounding the points
precision from double to single

What i have done: I have used the translate  command of PDAL as described
[here][1]. But the output does not preserve color properties
