[pdal] pdal delta --detail doesn't produce output

I'm trying to calculate the difference in x,y,z coordinates in two laz
files that result from alternative processing pipelines that start with the
same original laz. If I omit the --detail option, it runs in about a
minute.

If I include the --detail option, it doesn't produce any output even
overnight. Is this normal?
