Hi Paul,
Indeed I'm on windows. I tried this with OpenGeo Suite 4.0-beta and didn't encountered that problem. Is this expected on 4.0 release?
I was under the impression the extension is already integrated in 4.0 as what you have said in this blog: http://boundlessgeo.com/2013/11/manage-lidar-postgis/
Thanks a lot for your time =)

Are you on windows by any chance? The error is indicative of not having the extension installed, which wouldn’t be surprising on windows: it’s not part of the suite on that platform yet.

Hello guys!
I am trying to follow the tutorial in this blog
http://workshops.boundlessgeo.com/tutorial-lidar/.
I can't get past the CREATE EXTENSION pointcloud as it is returning this
error:
ERROR: could not open extension control file "C:/Program
Files (x86)/Boundless/
OpenGeo/bin/../pgsql/share/extension/pointcloud.control": No such
file or directory
I verified the existence of the file and I am positive it is there.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
