[pgrouting-users] New to pgRouting

LOL, ok the first link was from Nov. last year. I have been so busy I
forgot that I had posted that. I hope to have a new server build with
software that is new enough that I can build pgRouting on it, then I
will be able to dig into this in a little more detail.

In the meanwhile, I wrote a Dijkstra based router about 5 years ago and
I wrote explication code for it. So I have a pretty good handle on the
issues and how to do that.

So basically, if it is possible to get an ordered list of edge ids for
the computed route and it is possible to get the list of edges at each
node (ends of the edges) then I should be able to look up the street
names from the edge ids and analyze the intersection to generate a
reason natural language description of the route. It is likely that this
can be described as rows in a table that could then be used to populate
a language specific template to explicate in most languages.
