[pgrouting-users] Regarding pgRouting installation

Dear User,
I am trying to install pgrouting on a linux system where I ve been given my
own home directory and i ve my own version of Postgresql running on a
different port installed.
when i invoke the cmake command(as given in the pgrouting documentation) i
get errors similar to those given in
http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/pgrouting-users/2009-March/000055.html
I went through this post but I am not sure if that solution has really
helped.. is there any other explanation for that?
Please help..
