I just tryed it by cvs

 cvs -d:pserver:cvs at postgis.refractions.net:/home/cvs/postgis login
 cvs -z3 -d:pserver:cvs at postgis.refractions.net:/home/cvs/postgis co -P
postgis
autoconf
./configure --help

and the last command gave to me:

./configure --with-proj=/usr/local --with-geos=/usr/local/bin/geos-config
 USE_GEOS=1
 GEOS_DIR=/usr/local
 USE_PROJ=1
 PROJ_DIR=/usr/local

PGSQL_SRC=/home/postgres/src-2005-01-11-23/postgresql-8.0.0rc5/contrib/postg
is/../..
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile.config
