The only jdbc2 changes up to now are adding "eclipsebin" to .cvsignore,
and adding "-target 1.2 -source 1.2" to the javac command line, which
guarantees that the generated class files run on java 1.2 and up even
when they are compiled using jdk 1.5.

I added a small notice to the latter change to the CHANGES.
