Clearly someone at Oracle liked it -- but I'm not married to any
particular approach. If you have something constructive to add, this
could be seen as an opportunity to do so.

Yes, this is a good point. I've been pushing Xing to specify what the
function set will be and give some examples of how they will work
together.

Not everything will be accomplished in a single SoC project. What do
you see as most fundamental?
