 Paul,

 >Good instructions. I ended up just reducing the priv on my account and
running in --> single. My trace is no more informative than yours.

Your trace is not any more informative than mine? or Olivier's

The way I do it -- I compiled my PostgreSQL under MingW with debug mode as
Mark said (I updated Mark's instructions in a Tip section for that).

Then what I do after that of course after init Dbing my MingW PostgreSQL
 install.

I have my MingW install running under Port 8434 and then I manually start
it from windows dos shell with this command

 "C:\projects\pg\pg84\bin\pg_ctl" start -D "C:\projects\pg\pg84\data" -U
 postgres

Then I connect to it using pgAdmin III, run my query -- do contd. bt dance
 -- as per Mark's instructions .

But I'm running on Windows XP. Haven't tried under Vista or my Windows 7
yet - don't have those boxes set up.

I have yet to compile PostgreSQL under VS -- have it almost compiling --
still have to drag in some dependencies. Then I should be able to do a
more detailed debug under that too and maybe fix my damn R so PL/R will
work under my regular windows installs.
