 Regina,

 Thanks for the test cases - they were all down to a small change in the
 SRID detection logic which should now be resolved in v3 of the patch.

 Incidentally, the patch also solves the issue whereby the SRID check was
 not being done in the new CascadedUnion() code - this should now be
 consistent for both the cascaded/non-casaded versions of the code.
