In my case, the pgsql package was built on the same machine, but pkgsrc
goes to great lengths to isolate builds from exactly this problem,
symlinking in to a 'buildlink' tree headers/libs/tools from exactly
those packages that are declared as dependencies.  So I may have a
reference to the pgsql buildlink dir still lurking in an installed file.
I'll go over that more carefully.
