 I don't think we need to include a pdf doc file in the official release.
 It already has a simple html version for reference.   Adding it will
 increase the file size and the subsequent network load when folks start
 downloading the release.  If people really want a pdf version or view the
 html-chunked version, it's readily available on the website for download.
