[postgis-devel] compound curves in multicurves

One more question today...

The doc at http://postgis.refractions.net/docs/ch04.html#SQL_MM_Part3implies
that compound curves can be stored in multicurves, but my testing on
PostGIS 1.5 suggests otherwise. Is this a doc-bug or a bug-bug?

The MULTICURVE is a collection of curves, which can include linear strings,
> circular strings or compound strings.

Also, assuming this is a bug-bug it seems like "compound strings" should
really be described as "compound curves" to be consistent with the (arguably
inconsistent) WKT naming scheme.

Thanks,
Raven
