 I seem to recall that it was possible to send a signal to a running
 PostgreSQL backend which would cause it dump out it's memory context
 information to the server log file (possibly SIGABORT?). If we could do
 this on your Linux test server, we can at least get a rough idea of
 *where* the memory leak is occurring.
