[postgis-devel] Fwd: Build failed in Hudson:PostGIS-trunk-regression #568

Slight clarification

The loader reproject tests work fine on Windows. I think it was strk
complaining about that on his 64-bit machine and that's just a rounding
error which I'm not sure why we can't just use ST_SnapToGrid to fix.

What doesn't work on windows is the load schema test, but that is just
windows and we have a workaround for that which isn't pretty but works

The one we are really concerned about is and this one fails for everyone.

Thanks,
Regina

They are my tests, and while they "work on my machine" I think there's still
a cross-platform precision issue with them. I was hoping to test under
Windows (since Regina was the first one to complain about them not working)
but I haven't been able to get GEOS to build yet :(. That said I haven't
spent that much time on it so I'm hoping to get it up and running in the
next couple days.

Hmm, I can't see how my commit can have affected this.

In the two reprojection fails the differences is very small and they
pass on my local machine.

The ticket failure I guess must have been there before my commit since
also that one has nothing to do with my commit. I have tried to read
through the diff I comitted and can't see anything that shouldn't be
there.
http://trac.osgeo.org/postgis/changeset/6974

When I lock in the link below at office.refractions ......
as I understand it this failures has been there for a while. Is it so?

Does it send this message even the failures has nothing to do with the
changes that is pointed out in the mail?

/Nicklas
