 I've attached a patch that would move content to the `README.postgis` (or
 `README` file, if moved). Please revise the patch at #1670 to make sure I
 moved everything important. I remove the GDAL Python bindings, since
 that's old stuff.

 I recommend keeping bits of this file, moving it to `raster/`:
 {{{
 svn move README.raster raster/README`
 }}}
