I completely forgot about 2.3.

At anyrate 2.3 would be EOL'd after the next 2.3 release.  Which should be around same time as 3.0 but not necessarily at the same time.

I have nothing against more beta / RCs / whatever, but can we get at least
2-3 weeks from the feature freeze until the final release, please?

Also, I guess the plan is to drop 2.3 once the new 3.0 is released, right?
