 This is a bit meta, but it's my single biggest gripe about PostGIS. :)

 Currently many Google queries for PostGIS land at a page at
 http://postgis.refractions.net/documentation/manual-1.4/ . This is
 exasperating for anyone (surely the vast majority?) using a modern version
 of PostGIS.

 It would be better to:

   * use robots.txt to disallow 1.4, or
   * add a header to each page (a la Postgres docs) saying "This page in
 other versions:"
