 I run into a similar issue on mips (Debian/GNU) with postgis-2.1.1, where
 the calculated selectivity had 5 or more decimals, i.e. way above 1.0.  As
 it's just an estimate, I simply applied the joinsel.patch mentioned above
 to the Debian package.  I did not have time to investigate further, yet.
 But the original estimate certainly indicates something weird on that
 architecture.
