Comment:

 Hmm I feel this question would be better asked on our user group mailing
 list, as I suspect this is not a bug but just something specific oabout
 how you are set up.

 For example if your database you are restoring into has already got
 PostGIS installed, you'll get this error and you can safely ignore it.

 If you installed PostGIS with extension support and are restoring a backup
 not installed with PostGIS extensions, you'll get this error too.

 Anyway I'm going to close this out and refer you to our mailing list for
 help.
