Regina, may I ask you to keep first commit line within 70 cols
and then continue after an empty line ?

The first line is considered special by many tools, including
this email notification which uses it in the subject.

I'd suggest to put attribution and tickets references in the
"body" of the commit log (after the summary and the empty line).
