This is a bit more complicated than I thought. The closest thing I have
to RH 7 is Centos 7. It looks like boost 1.53 is part of the base repo.
So not sure why you don't have it. At anyrate you still need to install
epel repo if you haven't. Have you done:

So I'm guessing maybe you have an outdated base repo (possibly one in your
