 I'm going to mark this one as a wontfix since it seems platform specific.
 Or do you think ST_UnaryUnion can be put in place without any performance
 loss?

 If so maybe we can milestone it for 2.4.0 and do it before release.  Even
 after I do the beta release it's fine, since it's technically a bug fix.

 Feel free to unmark as wontfix if you think there is something we can do
 about it without causing more damage than good.
