 It seems I can replace lwgeom_clone_deep with PG_DETOAST_DATUM_COPY.

 I'm mostly confused about the MemoryContext, initially I tried to do
 something similar I've seen with the switching back and forth but could
 not make it work. There is something in the fundamental concept of it I do
 not understand.
