 BTW, I don't think you need to handle the PostgreSQL version upgrade
 because the upgrade script used should be the one built against the *new*
 version of PostgreSQL. Is this not the case, with pg_upgrade ? We actually
 do know we ask the users to upgrade with postgis_extension_upgrade() after
 pg_upgrade, right?
