Comment (by robe):

 Okay I tried this on 2.4.7dev (latest 2.4 stable branch) and I get a BOOM.

 However in 2.5.5 latest stable-2.5 branch, no BOOM BOOM.

 Should we just consider this fixed in 2.5 and accept we won't fix in 2.4,
 or back-port the change whatever that change is?
